other artifacts of my existence....
Some of my rites of passage. I wish I could find
all my promotion cards.
Class pictures coming up later
The Old Section
Here's some of the classrooms in the old wing.
I occupied space here in the early '60's for
grades 1st-4th.
The Gym
This is the gym. It's pretty much the same as
I remember back in the 60's.
It was used for gym classes, class pictures,
christmas plays and folk masses.
They are running performing arts classes
in it during the summer and they still hold
some of the masses in it.
where do i begin.....
Over a year ago I found out that my
grammar school was closing.
This really shouldn't be that big of a
deal but I realized that this is really
where we, as kids, grow up,
develop personalities, friendships and
early memories that directly effect
who and how
we turn out later in life.
This is just the beginning of a very long
term project.
The school is closed to regular classes
but still provides religious education classes.
I have no idea where this will
end up but that's OK
since I like adventures.

a work in progress...
This is a photographic documentation project on my old grammar school that has recently closed.
Part One of this project is basic documentation of the facilities. This will be done in both traditional 4x5 black and white film and digital 35 mm.
This blog is my workspace for this work in progress.
